I said in class that I'd post the list of the chapters that I'll draw
on in the final for 132. The precise list of chapters depends on the
edition of the textbook you have (I'll make sure there are no
questions that aren't in both):


Alter third edition (subtitled "A Management Perspective"):
  ch2 (basic concepts)
  ch3 (business processes)
  ch4 (information and databases)
  ch5 (communication, decision making)
  ch6 (product, customer, and competitive advantage)
  ch11 (information systems planning)
  ch12 (building and maintaining information systems)


Alter fourth edition (subtitled "Foundations of E-Business"):
  ch2 (understanding systems)
  ch3 (busienss processes)
  ch4 (information and databases)
  ch5 (types of information systems)
  ch6 (customer, product, and ecommerce)
  ch11 (information systems planning)
  ch12 (building and maintaining information systems)


From the Lofland and Lofland book, I expect you to have read chapters
1-8 (that's part 1 and part 2).


As usual, my lectures give you a guide to the topics that I think are
especially interesting or important.
